Modified Racing Association

Modified Racing Association (MRA), an open-wheel modified/supermodified sanctioning organization active in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Midwest Racing News documents its first annual awards banquet in 1982, when the championship was based on MRA-sanctioned events at Wilmot Speedway and Lake Geneva Raceway. The organization later appeared at Wilmot, Slinger, Hales Corners, Impact, Beaver Dam, Manitowoc and other tracks. MRA competition is confirmed through 1997.
