Minnesota Speedways, Inc. (MSI)

Minnesota Speedways, Inc. (MSI), later commonly styled MSI Promotions, was a Rochester-based southern Minnesota stock-car promotion and sanctioning organization. In the 1960s it operated a three-track Grand Championship circuit centered on Rochester, Kasson and St. Charles in Late Model/Modified, Hobby Stock and Street Stock divisions. By the mid-to-late 1970s MSI continued as a sanction/promoter for weekly and special-event racing, including Rochester, Kasson, Owatonna and Chateau Speedway. MRN documents MSI activity through 1979.
